late for an appointment

if you are running 15 or more minutes late, you will be asked to reschedule, as we are booked on a tight schedule and cannot run behind. if your appointment can be saved, your services may be altered to fit the newly allotted time slot.

cancellation

all artists require a minimum of a 48-hour notice for any appointment cancellation. if notice is NOT given within the 48-hour period, you will be charged a cancellation fee.

dissatisfaction

it is our main priority to make you feel happy, comfortable, and beautiful. if, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your service, please contact your stylist directly within 7 days of your original appointment to make further arrangements.

product exchange

if you are not pleased with a product, you may exchange it within 10 days of your initial purchase. there are no refunds or returns of products.

what are your hours?

hours are by-appointment only! we are open 7 days a week, upon request.

what does it mean to have an independent team of creatives?

The Emerson is a space for artists to grow, so every artist is completely independent and encouraged to develop their business however they see fit. we provide them the space to work on their craft, but they are free to set their own hours, services, and pricing, which is why all of our artists’ specifics vary from one to the other.

what sort of products do you carry?

we choose to carry three specific lines that we believe in, which match our culture, and which do the job correctly for our clients when the stylist isn’t around. all lines we carry and stand by are perfect for men, women, and children of all ages. products can be purchased by visiting the apothecary tab or coming into the studio!

can I bring a guest with me to my appointment?

as a safety precaution, we ask that you kindly refrain from bringing any guests with you.


what if I don’t know who to book with?

that’s alright! send us a booking inquiry and we’ll determine who would be perfect for you.


do you offer any refreshments?

of course! we have sparkling + still water, tea, sparkling + still rose and our very own blend of Cafe Kubal coffee, which is also available for purchase by the bag.
